COMPETITION RULES
The CrestOptics Live Cell Imaging Competition (the “Competition”) is open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and have access to a CrestOptics X-light V2 and X-light V3 spinning disk system. Camera/microscope brand are not taken in consideration for placement in the competition. Each participant may submit one or multiples proposals for judging.
Entries will be judged on:
- Total number of time points and Time resolution
- Data quality and Application relevance
ELIGIBILITY
The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Competition: (a) employees of CrestOptics spa., their respective parent companies and affiliated companies, and/or the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee, (b) the Competition Judges, regardless of the date of appointment, and/or their immediate family and household members. PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION AND/OR THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZE MAY BE RESTRICTED OR VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
Please send your proposal with detailed sample description, acquisition parameters, name of the instrument, affiliation and reference person to info@crestoptics.com. Entries must be received no later than June 26th, 2022, at midnight (CET).The video can be shared in any format. In case of large file dimension we suggest to use your favorite online file sharing service
JUDGING, VERIFICATION, AND AWARDEE SELECTION
A judging panel comprised of an independent group of three ( 3 ) individuals with varying areas of expertise in imaging, science and scientific communications. The judges are chosen by CrestOptics and CrestOptics has people on hand at the judging mainly to assure eligibility/rules compliance, and to provide any support our judges may need in the process.
AWARD
The three most impactful videos will win two Spirochrome fluorescent probe to further improve your live cell imaging experience.
Prize winners will be notified on June 28th.
PRIVACY POLICY
CrestOptics only requests an image release from those who have won. The release grants CrestOptics unrestricted permission to use the imagery with relation to the competition however, CrestOptics does NOT own copyright and you are free to use the image for other purposes at your choosing. We do ask that you do not use the image for any other contests however.
