Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist (BDS), who will have a key role within the Sales and Marketing team focused in promoting CrestOptics branded instruments and in developing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) deals. 

The main responsibilities are:  

  • Support of existing distribution network via seminars, demonstrations and trainings
  • Identification of new distribution partners in key markets
  • Identification and qualification of new potential OEM partners 
  • Accurate business forecasting, strictly related to financial targets and Production Planning
  • Contribution on definition of marketing campaigns and design of promotional material
  • Feedback to the Product Development team on current and future products
  • Market analyses aimed at identifying new features/products to be implemented in CrestOptics ambitious roadmap
  • Participation to relevant conferences and tradeshows

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • MSc or PhD in life sciences
  • Experience with microscopy
  • Sales experience 
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus 
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
