We are looking for a Business Development Specialist (BDS), who will have a key role within the Sales and Marketing team focused in promoting CrestOptics branded instruments and in developing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) deals.
The main responsibilities are:
- Support of existing distribution network via seminars, demonstrations and trainings
- Identification of new distribution partners in key markets
- Identification and qualification of new potential OEM partners
- Accurate business forecasting, strictly related to financial targets and Production Planning
- Contribution on definition of marketing campaigns and design of promotional material
- Feedback to the Product Development team on current and future products
- Market analyses aimed at identifying new features/products to be implemented in CrestOptics ambitious roadmap
- Participation to relevant conferences and tradeshows
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- MSc or PhD in life sciences
- Experience with microscopy
- Sales experience
- Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus
- Availability to travel up to 50%
