Business Development Specialist

The BDS operates within the Sales and Marketing team focused in promoting CrestOptics branded instruments and in developing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) projects.

The BDS main tasks include:

  • Support of existing distribution network via seminars, demonstrations and trainings
  • Identification of new distribution partners in key markets
  • Identification and qualification of new potential OEM partners
  • Accurate business forecasting, strictly related to financial targets and Production Planning
  • Contribution on definition of marketing campaigns and design of promotional material
  • Feedback to the Product Development team on current and future products
  • Market analyses aimed at identifying new features/products to be implemented in CrestOptics ambitious roadmap
  • Participation to relevant conferences and tradeshows



  • Ambition and collaborative attitude
  • MSc or PhD in life sciences
  • Experience with microscopy
  • Sales experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
